  1. 1) Overview

    LoreGM is designed to run locally. We do not collect or store your campaign content by default. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

  2. 2) Information we collect

    A) Website / waitlist (if you submit forms)

    We may collect:

    • email address (and any optional fields you submit, such as name);
    • consent/unsubscribe status and timestamps; and
    • basic security data (for example, IP address and user agent) to prevent abuse.

    B) License verification (App)

    To verify licenses and prevent fraud, the App may send:

    • license key/token (or a cryptographic proof derived from it);
    • App version and basic system details needed for compatibility (for example, OS version);
    • a device identifier derived from your device (hashed/pseudonymous where feasible);
    • timestamps and verification results; and
    • network/security signals used for fraud prevention (for example, IP address).

    C) Diagnostics (optional)

    If you enable crash reporting or diagnostics (if available), we may collect crash logs and error details needed to improve stability. These logs are intended to avoid including your campaign content unless you explicitly include it in a support submission.

  3. 3) What we do not collect by default

    We do not collect or store your campaign worlds, notes, or files as part of normal App operation, and we do not access the contents of your local files by default.

  4. 4) How we use information

    We use information to:

    • operate the Site and manage the waitlist;
    • verify licenses and enforce entitlements;
    • prevent fraud/abuse and secure the Service;
    • provide support and improve reliability (especially if diagnostics are enabled); and
    • comply with legal obligations.

  5. 5) How we share information

    We do not sell personal information.

    We may share information with service providers that help operate the Service (for example, hosting, email delivery, license infrastructure, or error logging), under contractual protections. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

  6. 6) Retention

    We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above:

    • waitlist data: until you unsubscribe or request deletion (or as needed for launch communications);
    • license verification records: as needed for security, fraud prevention, compliance, and support; and
    • diagnostics: for a limited period appropriate to debug issues.

    We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, unless retention is required by law.

  7. 7) Your choices

    Email unsubscribe: Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism.

    Deletion requests: You may request deletion of waitlist information by contacting privacy@loregm.com.

    Diagnostics controls: If the App offers toggles for diagnostics, you can disable them in App settings (if available).

  8. 8) California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

    This section applies to California residents.

    Categories of personal information collected (past 12 months)

    Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

    • Identifiers: email address (if you join the waitlist or contact support), IP address, and a device identifier derived from your device (hashed/pseudonymous where feasible);
    • Commercial information: license status, entitlements, and purchase/transaction metadata (if you purchase a license);
    • Internet/network activity: limited logs related to license verification (for example, timestamps and success/failure); and
    • Diagnostics: crash logs if enabled.

    Purposes

    We collect and use this information to operate the Service, verify licenses, prevent fraud, provide support, improve reliability, and comply with law.

    Do Not Sell or Share

    We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

    Your California privacy rights

    Subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to personal information we collected about you, request deletion, request correction, and obtain information about our collection and use practices.

    To exercise these rights, email privacy@loregm.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will take reasonable steps to verify your request before responding.

  9. 9) Security

    We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure.

  10. 10) Children

    The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

  11. 11) Changes

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice on the Site or in-app.
